compared to the rest of it - this thing is practically a soft, cuddly toy. once i had to scamper around a red belly black snake at 2am in the morning, in bare feet, whilst carrying my lap top, to get into the house.

Do they sting? We have big black carpenter bees here that are about an inch big, too, but they only eat wood. They don't sting.
